I've fixed the WhatPulse widgets so that they no longer make the site epic fail when WhatPulse is down.
Glen Moss' World Cup dream is in tatters after football's governing body Fifa handed the All Whites goalkeeper a four-match ban for swearing at the referee in last November's international against Fiji.
This means that he'll miss the last two qualifiers at the end of this year, and the first two games of the 2010 World Cup (which we'll be going to. We're going to win those two final qualifiers). As then ban resulted from misconduct in a World Cup qualifier, it only applies to World Cup matches. So he can still play for the All Whites and the tards, just not for the All Whites in a World Cup match, until his ban is finished. Which means Paston will be keeping for those four games. He'll also be keeping for the Phoenix, cause Mossy turned traitor. (Smeltz is just whipped)

So, I've done some thinking. Most people are aware that stuff is a technical word. Used to describe things and stuff. I think 'thingy' should be classified in the same way. It's used to describe things and stuff just like stuff is.
Thus I'm now making thingy a technical word used for describing things. And stuff. And thingys.
So, that horrible law has been delayed a month, and, if no agreement is reached between the ISPs and RIANZ (I think that's the main two parties involved), it'll be suspended.
Good to see that the internet community can have a such a big impact :)
Simon is blacked out: Stand up against "Guilt Upon Accusation" for New Zealand http://creativefreedom.org.nz/blackout.html
Don't forget to sign the petition. Blacking out is all good, but the petition is more likely to matter.
I've also blacked out my blog on every load. If you don't like it and don't have a login account for my blog, disable JavaScript. If you don't want to do that, tough. The cause is worthy.
Is now. Funky isn't it?

The Wellington City Council has proposed turning Manners Mall into a bus lane. Something to do with easing traffic flow or something. Which hasn't seemed to be a problem at the times I've been down there grabbing a feed. Or doing something else, like going somewhere.
The new layout after the bypass still confuses me (shows how much I use it), so sign the ePetition and help save me more confusion, and stop the displacement of the emos and goths that do their stuff there.
I've noticed a spike in requests to certain assets I host with external referers (yes, it's spelt that way. Google it with you want to know why), which has dramatically increased my data usage. Which might end up with this domain being suspended for the rest of the cycle. I wouldn't like that. Thus I have enabled hotlink protection. If your domain would like to hotlink from me, send me an email, and I may enable your domain to link to my files.
If you want me to give you the files, I'm going to need SSH access, unless the files are small enough to email. The MP3s I host aren't.

My husband left me with tinea. It's lasted twice as long as my marriage ever did - Julia Grace
Everybody knows that Michael Jackson knows that you can't go touching 12 year olds - Simple Day
Moshing with Jo at the back of Deluxe on the 'worship' night was also great fun :)
