Blog » Lent

As such I have deleted Twitterrific from my iPhone, iPad and laptop. I have revoked OAuth access to Twitter from most of the apps I had connected. I have deleted the facebook app on my iPad and busted out sudo nano to append entries to /etc/hosts that look something like:
127.0.0.1 cotweet.com standard.cotweet.com
127.0.0.1 facebook.com www.facebook.com api.facebook.com m.facebook.com i.facebook.com login.facebook.com beta.facebook.com secure.facebook.com developers.facebook.com
127.0.0.1 static.ak.fbcdn.net s-static.ak.fbcdn.net
127.0.0.1 twitter.com www.twitter.com api.twiiter.com m.twitter.com mobile.twitter.com dev.twitter.com
127.0.0.1 foursquare.com www.foursquare.com
127.0.0.1 formspring.me www.formspring.me 4ms.me
127.0.0.1 ping.fm
That may or may not get appended to. Time for some sadistic fun!
I should also note that blog posts get posted through to Twitter and Facebook automagically. Those posts are not be using the services.
