Royally pissed

Not the drunk type of pissed either.

The IOI team just got announced. It includes a someone I can not mentally picture, that didn't register on either the FARIO or AIIO score tables. Turns out, he was a junior at camp.

The juniors at camp were taught how to program.

I am not in the team. I registered on both the AIIO (100%) and FARIO (3rd kiwi) score tables.

I am pissed off. That's putting it nicely.

This probably means goodbye to informatics, which probably includes all the immature morons in #aioc in Freenode, though I'll see what I feel like later. Like a couple of months later.

Normally I try to keep "negative" emotions out of my posts, by I'm so bloody pissed I, frankly, couldn't care less.

  • Well, I haven't been in #aioc since I Sunday evening and have yet to miss it. That'll need to happen before I think about going back.

  • I'll add some perspective.

    Getting into the IOI team has pretty much been my only decent achievement. (I have my family to compare myself against. This is the only thing that no one else has matched.) As such, I was also rather set on getting into this year's team.

    The start of the process in spring last year also coincides with me finally getting the better of my bout with depression.
